The spirit of Mardi Gras fills the air, and amidst the excitement, 2 best friends, Crimson and Krissy, find themselves caught in a hurricane of family drama. Each girl belongs to a opponent Mardi Gras Krewe, a tradition they nourish despite the friendly rivalry. However, a shadow looms over their friendship – their stepdads, Tony Marzo and Tony Rubino, are sworn enemies. The tension escalates when Red's stepdad, in a fit of anger, punches Krissy out of their home. Red, ferociously dedicated to her friend, confronts her stepdad, threatening to quit Mardi Gras if he doesn't make amends. Encountered with the prospect of losing his stepd*ughter's participation in the fostered tradition, Red's step-dad reluctantly reaches out to his rival, Tony, initiating a soft truce. The issue heads far beyond Mardi Gras and the girls, as Tony confesses he’s not getting any from his wife, and he confesses that he would quit his ferocious ways in a wink of an eye if he got some from his rival’s stepd*ughter.
